Completely new: desk language island

For all those who are unable to take part in a language course, either in our school or in the company, Desk is now offering a special form of E-Learning or Blended Learning - desk language island.

Course participants can now enjoy virtual English lessons at whatever time they want and wherever they want (providing, of course, you have internet access): whether it be in your lunch-break at work, on the train, at the weekend at home, at a conference location or when on holiday. The special thing is that participants are taught by "their" teacher whom they know personally from the face-to-face lessons. In this way, the close contact which has been built up between teacher and pupil remains intact.

E-Learning on the desk language island is fun! You can use all sorts of different ways to learn the language, moving in the virtual world with your real teacher - e.g. going to foreign countries or visiting museums in the whole world, you can go shopping, order a meal in a restaurant, you can travel by tube, train or ship, you can take part in interesting meetings about all sorts of topics, etc, etc....
